Leak testing (LT) Print

Leak testing uses vacuum pressure and leak detectors. When a vacuum pressure is applied, even small variations of the pressure readings can be used to detect any leak. This type of testing is applied to many elements, subassemblies, pipelines or tanks which must be totally leak tight as a primary condition for commissioning.

We perform bubble-vacuum testing with the use of an EV 20 type vacuum pump, combined with suction cups for butt joints, overlapping joints and angular/corner joints.

This method of testing is not suitable for high-pressure installations.
