Penetrant testing, or liquid penetrant testing, relies on the penetration of cracks and open pores by a liquid penetrant. The penetrant is the drawn back out with a developer and generates a contrasting color indication against the developer on the surface of the object.

We use MR-Chemie GmbH penetrant testing sets (penetrant, cleaner, developer).

We also color and fluorescent penetrant testing.
